Rachel Chin asked:

The best skincare solution will be the combination of both natural skincare products and scientific system application. Natural skincare is gaining its popularity and setting an unstoppable trend in the beauty industry. However, this is just like you have access to a gym and you are working out hard in order to achieve a well built body. Here come the question, should you work on the stomach first, arms, legs or may be shoulder? Upper, middle or lower stomach? Biceps, triceps or the fore arm and wrist? What is the best way to work on the stomach? Sit up? Cycling? or Leg raising?

John Kitzmiller MD, chief of plastic surgery and associate professor of surgery, once said; “A Scientific System Skincare is just like having a personal trainer for your skin, you quantify the problem, define goals, make a plan and then establish a routine.”

The general steps should ideally begin with natural exfoliating peels, which remove dead skin cells, follow by stimulate new growth, and daily practice of cleaning and moisturizing the skin. Prior to that, an analysis either by the beautician, or consultation by specialist, to identify the skin problems such as sun spots, ultraviolet damage, fine lines, wrinkles, skin tone, texture and bacteria in the skin. Skin problems will then be pin pointed follow up by forming a skin-care plan based on scientific measurements. As the skin treatment progresses, estimated results will be monitored, and if necessarily, the Scientific Skincare System can be tweaked to achieve the expected outcome”.

However, in the whole process of Scientific Skincare System, only the best natural skincare products will be deployed. Natural skincare ingredients like:-

Phytessence Wakame - Anti oxidants help moisturizing and smoothing the skin, maintain the skins moisture balance.

Coenzyme Q10 - Ingredient that treat free radicals in your skin, good anti aging treatment and reduces wrinkle effect.

Cynergy TK - Stimulate and regrow collagen and elastin, which are losing as we age.

These have been proven to benefits the skincare treatment in many tremendous ways and most importantly they are all derived from natural plants or fruits.

Adversely, if chemicals laden skincare are being used, not only it will disrupt the progress of the Scientific Skincare Treatment System, but the fear of exposure to cancerous possibility. The side effect for non 100% pure skincare will be uncalled for and the original skincare treatment might even lead to other diseases.

I must stress again, in order to get the most benefit out of scientific system skincare, only use the best natural skincare products to ensure the effect ability and need not to worry about the negative side effect. Always ask and check the label of the skincare products, reading skincare reviews is the good way to go. Then you are in the safe skincare treatments, defy the aging process with no worry.

Serious answers only. What is your favorite day/night cream, pore minimizer, eye cream etc etc.. it doesn’t have to be the same brand but a mixture of different products from different brands. For example I would use Neutrogena alcohol free toner after using Cetaphil to wash my face. Then I would put on some Olay spf 15 lotion on my face. Then followed by Victoria’s Secret body lotion all over my body. As for my pores, I use Clinique pore minimizer mask. I would like to see what other women out there use.

Dr. Valerie Rosenbaum asked:

You have probably seen many natural products that are used in skincare that claim to be the best natural skincare line. How can you know which are the best and how to find a scientific system skincare line that is right for your skin? Do some research and you will find that there are some products that can give you the results that you are after.

If you are looking for products that are the best natural skincare for aging skin, there are some ingredients that you should be looking for specifically in these products. Look for scientific system skincare products that infuse the vitamins that you need to keep your skin looking healthy and young. Vitamin A, E, and C are some of the best ingredients that should be included in the best natural skincare products that you choose.

There are also a number of products that are on the market that make use of essential oils to give your skin a fresh look. Do some research on the essential oils that you should use in the best natural skincare products that you can create in your own home. Make sure that you never put essential oils directly on your skin. When you are using pure essential oils they can be too harsh for your skin on their own. They should always be diluted with carrier oils to dilute the strength.

There is a lot of information online that will help you to determine which products are the best natural skincare products for your particular needs. When you do your research, look for information that is not selling a product and then use that information to determine which scientific system skincare products make use of these ingredients. This is the most impartial way to find out which products will perform the way that you want.

You can also choose to create your own best natural skincare products in your own home. There are many recipes online that will help you to choose the best ingredients to use on your skin. Make sure that you are using the best quality ingredients when you choose to make your own products. This can be a very economical way to use products that are completely natural and will work for whatever problems you have with your skin.

No matter what kind of skincare problem you have, you will find the best natural skincare products available to help your skin. Acne, dry skin, sensitive skin and aging skin are all problems that must be dealt with in different ways. There are different ingredients that should be used for each of these problems and you will have to do the research to make sure that you are using the right ones.

Don’t forget that one of the best natural skincare regimens that you can do for your skin is to make sure that you are eating a healthy diet and getting plenty of water every day. You can see some great results in your overall health and your skin if you follow a healthy diet and exercise every day. The skin is an organ of the body and needs to be cared for in the same way as every other organ. You have to feed your body well so that it can function properly. That is as true for your skin as every other function in your body.

I get occasional breakouts on my face but they are not extreme. However, I get scars from them and it really gets me down. I am on the pill for this and use a topical lotion given to me by my doctor but I was wondering what sort of face washes and moisturisers I should be using? My skin is slightly oily on my cheeks and chin. Thanks x

DR Vijay Kumar asked:

Do you love yourself and do you love your skin? Our skin is one of our most lovable assets. We nurture and cherish the glow and beauty of our skin. So, why not choose the best natural skincare for your most lovable asset- your skin.

In the course of the daily dealings and meetings we have with people, our skin gets the most attention. It is a sign of our health and well being. So, it becomes really very important for us to choose the best natural skincare, which should also be a scientific system of skincare.

A major shift towards Natural Skincare

In the course of last few years, there has been a major shift on the issue of skincare from the synthetic, drug based products towards a more natural scientific system skincare.

Clearly, the best natural skincare should also be based on sound scientific grounds. We must be careful of such products which have the label “natural” or “organic”, when in fact they are not. The manufacturers just used the words to increase their sales.

Unfortunately, a lot of skincare companies still use a lot of parabens and fragrances which are deadly carcinogens. They make all attempts so that their creams smell the best, without bothering about the effects it shall have on your skin’s long term health.

A word of caution- You must use the best natural skincare products because what you apply on your skin is literally “eaten” by your body. The substances pass through your pores, and finally make way towards your bloodstream and tissues. Now just imagine how much harm you could cause yourself by compromising on the best natural skincare issue.

The Importance of Scientific System Skincare

The use of scientific system skincare can give you an upper edge when it comes to selecting the best natural skincare. It is because the use of science makes natural substances more easiely and readily absorbable by our body.

A scientific system skincare does exactly this. For example, when it is known that a particular plant has great anti aging potential, then using its extract for the best natural skincare product is much more effective, rather than using the whole plant.

This gives us the best of both worlds- Nature and Science.

Natural Substances your skin would love you for!

One such natural substance which is being used successfully in the best natural skincare products is Phytessence Wakame. It is an extract from a special type of Japanese sea kelp. It is also consumed as a food there. And now its extracts are being used by some elite skincare products due to its amazing and promising benefits on skin health and anti aging.

Phytessence Wakame has shown these outstanding benefits in clinical trials on human volunteers-

1) It has vitamins that are very beneficial in reducing skin inflammation. Constant inflammation breaks down to structure of skin proteins and leads to premature aging of the skin.

2) It is an effective antioxidant. It kills the free radicals that damage the skin cells and tissues. Thus it gives a soft and supple skin.

3) An active ingredient in Phytessence Wakame is sulphated polyfocose. This has shown excellent protection of skin from the harmful UV rays and also from environmental toxins.

4) It protects a vital hyaluronic acid in our skin from being damaged. Hyaluronic acid is very important because it works with the two most important skin proteins called collagen and elastin, in keeping our skin soft, supple, elastic and healthy.

This is just one of the amazing natural substances that have a great potential of giving you naturally glowing young skin. I have covered a lot of such natural skincare ingredients in my website.

No wonder then, your skin, which is also your most lovable asset deserves the best natural skincare!

A Natural Approach to the Best Skincare

Therese Higgins asked:

If you’re anything like me, you hate seeing the bloom of youth slowly fade from your face. And just like me, you know that your approach to the best skincare must be given serious consideration if you’re going to get the results you’re looking for. Healthy skin is a reflection of a healthy body. You can buy the best skincare products in the world, but if you’re not taking care of your overall health, those products will be fighting an uphill battle. That is why I’ve found that the best skincare comes from a whole, natural approach, capable of restoring the youthful bloom to your face. The basics of a natural approach to skin care include: Diet I know, I know. You’re probably sick to death of hearing about a healthy diet. But if you take a moment to understand how diet can have such a beneficial effect on your skin, I believe you’ll begin to see it as an essential part of the best skincare. Including lots of brightly-colored fruits and vegetables in your diet is just like using the best skin care products. These natural foods help keep the production of skin-damaging free radicals to a minimum because of their powerful antioxidant properties. Free radicals are the tiny molecules that wreak havoc on your skin, making it look old and saggy. The vitamins and minerals contained in many fruits and vegetables also nourish and support skin cell function. One of the more important functions is to produce natural collagen and elastins which maintain our skin’s firmness and elasticity. This is what keeps you looking young. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables also helps keep the digestive system on track. This means that your body is able to easily rid itself of any built up toxins that can also have damaging effects on you body and skin. Note: You can intensify the skincare benefits of a healthy diet by drinking lots of filtered water and reducing the amount of processed “junk” food that you consume. Exercise Exercise is an essential part of the best skincare simply because it increases the circulation of your blood, which nourishes your cells with life-giving oxygen. Adding regular exercise to your daily routine can be as simple as taking part in physical activities that you enjoy. Walking, swimming, biking, dancing, tennis or any activity that requires you to move can be an easy and pleasant way to get the exercise you need to improve your skin as well as your overall health. Just remember when you go outdoors to wear a hat and long, light-weight sleeves to protect your skin from the damaging rays of the sun. Avoid using sunscreen if possible. Most sunscreens are loaded with synthetic chemicals that can actually damage your skin. Nature-based Skincare Products Taking a natural approach to the best skincare also includes using nature-based skincare products. The best skincare products are made from natural ingredients that are designed to work from within your skin cells to promote natural healing, strengthening and protection. Instead of relying on synthetic mineral and petroleum oils to soften your skin, products with natural plant and vegetable-based oils such as avocado and macadamia can produce a healthy softness that won’t clog your pores and suffocate your skin. The best skincare products also contain high concentrations of active ingredients such as CoQ10, kelp extract and keratin which are very effective at fighting free radicals and stimulating natural collagen and elastin production. Products that commonly use alcohols, parabens, dioxanes and fragrances combine to make a great smelling plaster for your face. Instead of supporting your skin cells, these ingredients only support the creamy consistency and good smell of the product. And they also support the bottom line of the cosmetic company because these ingredients are cheap. Your natural approach to the best skincare products should mirror the natural approach to your diet. Increase the use of nature-based products and avoid processed, “junk” skincare. Note: You can intensify the benefits of the best skincare products by regularly exfoliating your skin. This just means giving your skin a good washing to remove dead skin, and toxins that have been excreted through your pores. So now that you know how to use a whole, natural approach to get the best skincare, your challenge is to put this approach into practice. Eating right and exercising is a no-brainer. And locating information to help you find the best skincare products is as easy and natural as point and click! I know that you’re up to the challenge.

what inexpensive facial skincare products are best to use during pregnancy?

Christine asked:

I never had a problem with my skin pre-pregnancy, but now that I am pregnant with twins my skin has gone buck wild. I know that Salicylic acid and things like that are a no-no during pregnancy. So, what inexpensive products are the best to use. I have normal/oily skin, but it has dried out easily after washing with Purpose ( a really gentle cleanser that has done nothing for my skin). Also, I have been using Ponds moisturizer, but it is way too greasy for my skin. Any suggestions? Thanks!
